Tung Xiau Min

Tung Xiau Min, native place is Heilongjiang, born in Hong Kong in 1948. He studied at the Affiliated High School and Department of Printmaking in the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts,is a painter and art curator. Tung is the Chief Consultant of Chinese Ink Painting Institute Hong Kong and has been the consultant of Hong Kong Art Development Council, He is the vice chairman of the National Chinese Ink Painting Institute, Researcher of China National Academy of Painting, Director of the Metropolitan Ink Painting Research Institute, Honorary committee member of Goundong Federation of Literary and Art Circle, Honorary Chairman of Shenzhen Federation of Literary and Art Circle, Honorary President of Shenzhen Art Institute, Honorary President of Guan Shanyue Art Museum in Shenzhen. Executive Director and Chief Curator of the Shenzhen International Ink Painting Biennial. He is the committee member of the Chinese Artists Association, the Chief Juror of the Chinese National Art Exhibition, and board committee of many art institutes and competitions in mainland. His artworks were selected in national exhibition of arts in China, Barcelona, Belgrade, Soul, Monte Carlo, Dresden, Brussel, San Diego and Hamburg. He also had solo exhibition in United State, Europe, Asia, and paintings were collected by museums, art institutes and private collectors.
